Commis chef – Starter section – Westminster Full Time

SNS Recruitment are currently looking for several full time & part time commis chefs to work in the starter section for one of our clients in London, UK.

This is a permanent job role and will require you to work 37.5 hours a week in the starter section with shifts on rota

The ideal candidates will be an excellent team player and be willing to go the extra mile.

The menu focuses on traditional British cuisine using fresh produce/ingredients. Your role will require you to cater to members and guests daily. All food will be cooked to order, and the candidate must be confident in their ability to work under pressure.

• £24,000

Working Hours:

• 37.5 hr over 5 days

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the ingredients and taking orders from more senior chef
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
• Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
• Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
• Valid food certificate or equivalent
