Head waiter – Richmond Upon Thames Permanent

SNS Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced, full-time head waiter/waitress to work for their client in Richmond, London.

Job description

Our client is family run and well-established restaurant for 20 years in Richmond. They serve authentic Italian food using seasonal ingredients.

Our client is looking for an engaging, friendly, positive person to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Leading wait staff
• Preparing the restaurant for service
• Take orders and deliver food & drinks to our customers.
• You will greet and serve customers,
• Providing detailed information on our menus,
• Multi-tasking various front-of-house duties and providing the bill.

Working hours & Pay

• Salary: Up to £14 per hour
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Monday – Friday. shifts may be an option
• Working hours: 2 split shifts per day. (Times 10 -3 / 5-10)
• Contractual hours: Fully flexible – able to offer up to 45 / 50 hours per week.
• Sunday restaurant is closed.

Requirements:

• The culture is friendly, professional, honest & with a ‘muck in’ attitude – these character traits are essential for this position.
• Effective communication with chefs is essential to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• There will be shift and weekend work and all relevant Health & Safety Regulations training will be provided, along with a thorough induction to our way of working.
• All applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK
• Good knowledge of wines is desirable, but not essential.
