School Kitchen Assistant – Islington Temporary
SNS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Qualified & Experienced Kitchen Assistants /Kitchen Porters to cover Temporary and ongoing assignments for their clients located around the Islington Area.
Hours:
Monday to Friday (Term times only)
Hours vary between 9.45am – 2.45pm
Responsibilities;
- Supporting chefs in a specific work section.
- Washing, peeling and preparing food items.
- Using a variety of kitchen equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
- Unloading deliveries.
- Organising the Kitchen.
- Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls etc.
The ideal candidate will –
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be willing and able to travel within London
- Be self-motivated
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS Check (Required for schools, nurseries & Care homes)
- Have Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 2
- Have previous work experience in a similar role
